What makes UDOR so exceptional?

1. Age:
UDOR is a subtle alliance of whiskies of varying ages, from 3 to over 5 years. The expertise of our master distillers is evident in the art of blending these whiskies, with each age bringing its own distinct depth and aromatic richness. The influence of age is all the more pronounced as the majority of casks used are First Fill Casks (casks used for the second time), which helps to preserve intense, complex aromas.

2. Type of wood :
Our whiskies are aged mainly in American oak casks, renowned for their ability to infuse generous notes of vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, ginger and cinnamon. But UDOR doesn't stop there! After blending, the whisky is further finished in casks that previously contained Pedro-Ximenez Sherry, aged in Spanish oak, adding a rare and delicate touch to this exceptional European whisky.

3. Alcohol content:
UDOR is 43% vol., a perfect balance that respects the requirements of the European Whisky appellation while offering power and roundness on the palate.

4. Handcrafted:
Every cask selected for UDOR comes from distilleries that favor artisanal production methods. Patrick and Etienne, our master distillers, have carefully sourced these casks, guaranteeing incomparable quality and authenticity.

5. Values :
At Talents of Spirit, our values are at the heart of every bottle. Patrick emphasizes family values, a commitment to quality and respect for tradition. For his part, Etienne honors the values of terroir, respect for nature and farmers, and the pursuit of excellence through every stage of production.

6. Distillation region:
UDOR is the fruit of the union of two emblematic regions: North Brabant in the Netherlands, Patrick's homeland, and the province of Liège in Belgium, where Etienne perpetuates the art of distillation.

7. Distillation:
UDOR is distilled in Pot Stills, with a characteristic swan neck and traditional double distillation, as practiced in Scotland. This method gives the whisky exceptional purity and richness.

8. Color:
UDOR's natural color is respected at every stage of the process. Aging in deep red Pedro-Ximenez Sherry casks imbues the whisky with warm, intense nuances.

9. Filtration:
We have opted for simple filtration, avoiding cold distillation (Chill Filtration) to preserve aromas and flavors as much as possible. A slight natural deposit may form in the bottle, a sign of the authenticity and quality of this whisky.

10. Bottling:
UDOR is bottled exclusively for Lagardère and is only available in Duty-Free stores at Brussels Airport and Charleroi Brussels South. This unique whisky offers a rare opportunity to enjoy an exceptional product while in these airports.
